Martha McCrory holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education, with a Piano Major and Clarinet Minor from James Madison University. She received a graduate equivalency degree in Music Therapy from the University of Kansas, and is a Board Certified Music Therapist. She also holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Ms. McCrory was employed as a Music Therapist at The Menninger Clinic beginning in 1994. She went on to become the director of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services and Wellness in 2003. Being a native of Virginia Beach, Ms. McCrory chose to move her nuclear family closer to her family of origin in August, 2013.
